Warranty, Handling & Installation
Check your window before installation to make sure it matches your order and has no defects. Report any issues in writing within 24 hours to kelly@kparkerjoinery.co.za.
Store the window upright, under cover, on a dry surface, and treat all six sides before fitting. Remove the staff beading to treat both sashes. Avoid dark exterior colours such as black to prevent heat damage.
When installing, use fixing lugs across the hardwood frame. Do not drill into the vertical stiles. Waterproof the surrounding area and check that the frame is square and level before glazing.
All glazing must follow SANS 10400-N standards. Ensure correct tolerances and use neutral silicone for laminated glass.
