Full Pane wooden mock sash window – PMS7

The PMS7 is a 1200 mm wide × 1800 mm high Meranti wooden mock sash window manufactured by K Parker Joinery. This 1200 mm-wide model is the tallest standard size in this style.

The full pane design has one undivided pane in the top sash and one in the bottom sash. It gives you the proportions of a traditional sash window with a simpler glazed appearance and fewer glazing bars.

How this mock sash window opens

The top sash is top hung and opens outwards for ventilation. The bottom sash stays fixed. Neither sash slides vertically; the design provides a sash-window appearance with a hinged opening.

Glazing and ordering

Select No glass if you are arranging your own glazing, or 4mm Float Glass Clear to order the glass with your window. When ordered with glass, it is supplied loose for fitting on site after installation and finishing. Confirm your measurements and chosen glazing option before ordering.

Warranty, Handling & Installation

Check your window before installation to make sure it matches your order and has no defects. Report any issues in writing within 24 hours to kelly@kparkerjoinery.co.za.

Store the window upright, under cover, on a dry surface, and treat all six sides before fitting. Remove the staff beading to treat both sashes. Avoid dark exterior colours such as black to prevent heat damage.

When installing, use fixing lugs across the hardwood frame. Do not drill into the vertical stiles. Waterproof the surrounding area and check that the frame is square and level before glazing.

All glazing must follow SANS 10400-N standards. Ensure correct tolerances and use neutral silicone for laminated glass.
