Wooden Mock Sash Windows – Custom Made by K Parker Joinery

Our wooden mock sash windows give you the look of traditional sash windows without the pulley system. The top sash stays fixed, while the bottom sash opens. This design is easy to use, low maintenance, and ideal for many homes.

At K Parker Joinery, we make every window ourselves. This means we can manufacture any size to suit your space. You can choose from our standard designs or request double glazing for better insulation and noise control.

We use premium Meranti timber for each frame. Meranti is a natural product, so colour variations are normal and add character. Every window is supplied untreated but factory-sanded to 120 grit. You can then finish it with your choice of oil or wood sealer (not included).

Warranty, Handling & Installation

Check your window before installation to make sure it matches your order and has no defects. Report any issues in writing within 24 hours to kelly@kparkerjoinery.co.za.

Store the window upright, under cover, on a dry surface, and treat all six sides before fitting. Remove the staff beading to treat both sashes. Avoid dark exterior colours such as black to prevent heat damage.

When installing, use fixing lugs across the hardwood frame. Do not drill into the vertical stiles. Waterproof the surrounding area and check that the frame is square and level before glazing.

All glazing must follow SANS 10400-N standards. Ensure correct tolerances and use neutral silicone for laminated glass.
