A dado rail, also known as a chair rail, is a moulding fixed horizontally to the wall around the perimeter of a room at a height of about 1m. It is also adds depth to a room when painting the walls two different colours above and below the dado rail. All our wooden mouldings and trims come in a natural finish. However, we recommend using our DIY water-repellent wood sealer/wood treatment that dries to a semi matt finish.
